Chairman Brian Lee visited Nuneaton on Saturday 31 October to award them with their grant of £18,000 towards their youth engagement programme. The funding will help support coaching in ten primary schools, after school clubs, holiday courses and weekly drop in sessions for teenagers.
Meanwhile, Lord Faulkner traveled to Harrogate Town AFC to present their cheque for £7,735 towards their Mr Fit project – aimed at improving the health and fitness of local men with advice on diet and exercise sessions. He also took the opportunity to represent their Community Club Award for the Most Innovative Project – Lifeline thru Football – aimed at helping homeless and vulnerable people.
