Hants FA Community Trust Award presented to Eastleigh FC In the Community

Led by Gazz Davison and Kenny Amor, Eastleigh FC in the Community (the charitable arm of Eastleigh FC) have been presented with the Hants FA Community Trust Award for their Pan-Disability League project.

The Pan-Disability League provides for many local children and adults, bringing the joy of football to all participants and enabling them to enjoy football with others.

Gazz, Kenny and the team have had to navigate some very difficult circumstances in order to make this project a success, beginning with the Saints Foundation decision to discontinue the Pan-Disability League, and Eastleigh FC in the Community deciding to take over hosting the Pan-Disability League. After a successful application to the National League Trust for grant funding, Eastleigh FC in the Community are utilising grant funds to ensure the longevity of the project, and to continue to grow the project, the charity and the enjoyment for all participants and the local community.

They intend to use the League to enable continuity for the players who enjoy playing football, will benefit from doing so in a safe environment, and enjoying football with others who have similar disabilities. As a Pan-Disability competition with child, youth and adult sections, many local participants with disabilities will be able to take part and be included in the Eastleigh FC football community, and they see this as a development opportunity to further embed disability football at the charity.
