NLT Under 11s Wembley Cup Final

The scene was set .The North and South Finals lived up to expectations with high quality football, great teamwork, memorable moments and the drama of yet another penalty shoot-out. In the Girls North Final, a saved penalty took Lache Primary, representing Chester FC, through to the Wembley Final to play Sutton United with the girls from Barrow Hedges Primary. Ashton United & GMP Tameside Team Up

Tameside Police are delighted to have been presented with a football kit to use when officers are supporting local people to raise funds and awareness through football matches. Back in October, officers and staff from GMP’s Tameside Borough took part in a charity football match against Emmaus Mossley, at Mossley AFC’s Seel Park. The event raised over £2000, with all proceeds being donated to the Greater Manchester Mayor’s Homelessness Fund, to be used towards the Bed Every Night campaign. National League Trust U11s Cup

This year’s U11 Cup is reaching the business end of the competition now that the regionals are over. 18 schools will now compete in the North and South Finals, with the winners of the Mixed/Boys and Girls categories making a dream appearance at Wembley on May 11th ahead of the National League Promotion Final, to see who will be crowned Champions. 47 Club Community Organisations have created a truly amazing U11’s competition with 691 schools taking part this year. WEMBLEY NATIONAL STADIUM TRUST TEAMS UP WITH THE NLT

The NLT is pleased to announce an exciting new partnership with Wembley National Stadium Trust.  The Trust has granted us £100,000 for a pilot programme to help develop women and girls football opportunities at National League clubs. The programme will last for a year, with community projects delivering 30 weeks of continuous activity.  These range from after school clubs, to open age sessions, walking football and futsal. Under 11s Cup 2019

The excitement is building at National League clubs across the country as they hold their Under 11s Cup tournaments with primary schools.  These tournaments will decide which schools go on to represent the club in the regional events inn February and March 2019. The ultimate goal is to play in the finals, to be held on the pitch at Wembley before the 2019 Promotion Play-Off on 11 May.
